[ROVERNET - UK] Rover 2000 Ful Pump as Well

I have a 1969 2000 TC.
I check the fuel pump as follows:
1. Take off the bowl and screen and see if debris can
be seen inside the inlet and outlet areas.
**Fuel should enter the fuel pump by gravity
*****If no fuel then likely you have debris at the
tank outlet pipes.
2. Detach the fuel pipe at the first carb and lead
the hose into a bottle (well secured). Turn the
engine over (an assistant needed) while you observe if
fuel is entering the bottle.
3. If fuel is entering the pump by gravity and you
get no output into the bottle, then something is wrong
with the pump. It can usually be rectified with a
kit. If you don't need an oil seal for the diaphragm
plungerm the aftermarket pump kits are quite cheap
from Ruth in Vancouver or Pierre in the UK.

4. Ruth can rebuild a pump for you and dispatch as
fast as your wallet allows (UPS has a few different
pricing plans).
