Ok...I have to put my 2 cents worth, Why is it not
possible that these cars could actually have the
c-pillars with vinyl, or what ever the material.

It could have been just a dealer thing to help with
selling as vinyl roofs were big things back in the
late 60's and early 70's on American cars. Dealer
would actaully give the vinyl roof away just to sell
the car. And I know this because I have collected old
Mopars...thats Chrysler products to those that dont
know. And I have restored and bought and sold them
that had vinyl roofs where there was not suppose to be
on the car, but found the dealership paper showing
"Dealer Installed"

Sometimes, I wonder if yall are way to critical on
ideas that could be possible verses "That never
happened".

As long as I have driven Rovers, since 81, nothing
surprises me about these cars.
Thats my 2 cents worth and I am sticking with it.
Cheers
David
