Thanks for all of the responses! I had convinced myself it was a problem with 
the fuel pump but wasn't sure. I don't think it is the reserve tap since my fuel 
gauge doesn't work and my odometer doesn't work so my fuel management strategy 
often involves running out of fuel, pulling the reserve tap, and finding the 
nearest gas station. Ill try Kent's gas cap trick first and then pull off the 
fuel pump. Some one mentioned cleaning the fuel lines. How do you do that?
