took a look at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Rovernet/

To join need to be approved as moderator, ie you? So, if you are
moderator all you need to do is delete the group. Just migrate any
pics of files stored there that you think are worth saving to the
other Rover_net files. Go to Management>Delete Group>Delete.

You will not get an answer from Yahoo, far too busy to do any customer
service, so better to just delete the old group to aviod any confusion
and put up with the Rover_net name for the current group.

Alt if you want a hand, i will do it for you. Just give me a moderator
privileges and i will execute the death warrant!!! :-)
