If the TC head is ok, fit the SC block and the TC head.
Otherwise, get the throttle linkage and mounting bracket off the SC, also
the front exhaust pipe. Choke cable is a maybe, depends on TC year.

Hi, folks. International consulation is again
required.

You may remember the request I posted here from
Nathalie and Jean-Jacques from France a while ago.
They have a 1970 Rover 2000 TC whose engine is
thrashed. They thought that someone was going to give
them a 2200 engine and the question was, "Could it be
done?" It now turns out that the freebee engine is
ACTUALLY an SC engine. The question is now, can they
retrofit an SC engine. Anyway, I have pasted their
email below. Just like before, I am willing to pass
along the collective words of wisdom.

Regards, Eric
PS. Nathalie is female
Jean-Jacques is male

Dear Eric,
Some days ago, you answered very kindly to our
question concerning the adaptation possibility of a
2200 motor in a 2000 TC Rover P6.
We heard today that the motor which would be given us
is in reality a 2000 SC ( really less powerfull ! ).
So, here is our new question : can a 2000 SC motor be
easily adapted in a 2000 TC car ?
Maybe do you know that ?
Sorry for taking you so many time and attention , and
by advance thank you.
Bien cordialement,
Nathalie (and Jean-Jacques)
