The answer to this one I can answer from experience: The air valve spec 
and operation is absolutely critical to servo operation. If the check 
valve is not absolutely what it should be, you brakes may, among other 
things, come on and refuse to release. You are better off reusing your 
old check valve if you can't be absolutely certain you are getting the 
correct part.

I have nothing against your local Jag specialist with Rover experience, 
but you have heard from three Rover specialists via Rovernet already, 
and Ruth Burgess is only a phone call away.
