HI All

OK, so I went and looked at a P6 yesterday, and I'm hoping for a
little input from the North American readers on what might be a
decent offer.

Car is a 67 TC, has the blue sails and patches under the logos and a
Toledo Red interior. It is a one-owner, last time it ran was 4 or 5
years ago, last ran on the road about 8 years ago. The car is very
complete, interior is in OK condition (oddly, it is the front
passenger seat that shows the typical rover wear). Has some rust, a
restoration would require new sills, jacking points, the D posts and
a trunk floor but the car is not a rust bucket. It has been under
cover mostly, so the car has little weathering but the rubber is all
perished.

Also in the deal is a 69 TC, in fairly poor shape but complete, the
engine of which is out and disassembled in a box along with pretty
much all the new parts required for a rebuild (including new OEM
sideplates with the heavy galvanized coating).

I'm interested because it is a one owner and would come with a
complete history, and is very much a complete car, though I am a bit
put off by the rust as always. The current owner has no expectations
on the value, except that he wants the 67 to end up in "good hands" ,
as he put it.

Anybodt care to suggest how they would value it?

Yours
Vern
