Canadian and US dollar we about the same in 1962.

Back to the comments Dennis made, the above referenced article seems to 
show that Dennis was right about the Canadian and US dollars having 
near-parity in 1971. If that's the case, why would Rover charge $6,100 
for the car in Canada and only $5,400 in the USA?
