[ROVERNET - UK] P6 2200 pistons

Hi Kent,

They are very definitely 2200 Pistons.

They are different in design to the 2000 pistons, they don't have the
deep dishes for the compression space but rest assured they are correct.
The topic on the P6 ROC forum is typical of chat rooms where people who
don't know what they are talking about manage to sound very
knowledgeable. (Not a dig at the other club, just an observation about
the downside to easy worldwide communication and the speed and ease with
which people are prepared to voice their opinion, whether they know or
not) - Sorry, un-characteristic rant over. It's been a bad week!

allrovers is the name S and G walker, a well respected and knowledgeable
P6 specialist here in the UK trade under on ebay.

I bought a set of these pistons from Steve and Gloria and had my 2000
block bored out to take them a few years ago.
One thing worth checking. When I finally got around to building the
engine I discovered one of the pistons hadn't been finished properly.
One of the Gudgeon pin circlip grooves hadn't been machined. Once I
discovered the problem, (which must have been at least a year after I
bought the pistons) I contacted Steve and he sent a replacement next day
without quibble and without needing to see the faulty piston.
I'd say bid with confidence.

Rob
