[ROVERNET - UK] HTML on list

Eric-
Glen tells me that the hyperlinks are not HTML until your browser
converts them to HTML when you view the message and links, which only
exist as plain text in the actual list.
Which raises the question: If you read the list, and your browser
converts something to HTML, and you then quote that in reply, is that
now embedded as forbidden HTML?
OK, Like a dummy, I tried to send this with the computer not dialed up,
so I have it back. My e-mail software said that the outgoing message
contained HTML, which the recipient is not listed as receiving. I
normally just hit "send as both HTML and plain text", but the list
evidently ignores the plain text and discards the lot as HTML. So I
guess that I should tell it send plain text only. I actually did that
when I tried to send it the first time, and I see that the
HTML/hyperlinks in the quoted bits are now NOT HTML, but plain text.
Compooterz iz wunnerful, albeit inscrewtable!
