[ROVERNET - UK] Poor mans *******

I'm sure the claim was a poor mans Rolls..........I know the Jaguar can make 
you a poor man quicker.....LOL .............

On a sadder note...........my friend Alan, after a 8-10  year restoration of 
his 3500S finally got the car painted and when he went to pick it up 
..........after admiring the great paint job that was done.........stood 
talking to the owner of the shop when to his horror they heard a crash 
outside..........The guy backing it out of the shop had his foot slip on the 
accellerator and panicking hit the clutch instead of the brake and 
..............well lets just say the mishap has shortened (in a wedge shape) 
the trunk and structure by about a foot...........Backed right into the 
corner of a dumpster..................Please remove your hats and hold your 
hands to your hearts and pray ............that Alan is forgiven for 
attempting to throttle the driver in a fit of rage..............Obviously 
praying didn't help as when he went for a walk to calm down a rather large 
tree branch snapped from the wind and hit him in the head causing quite the 
gash to his cranium...........Quite the day for the poor 
chap.................
