Thanks for replying for me Andrew, I was offline.

Thats correct the wheels and spokes are powdercoated gray, only  the 
hub nuts are chromed.
The original hub nuts are brass which are chromed, the hubnuts are not 
steel or stainless, but stainless would sure be nice to have,  I too am 
very glad that the Rover hubnuts do not have those ears.

Chrome steel spokes can be purchased if thats what you really want, a 
much better and safer way to go if you are looking for shiny effects 
would be to use stainless spokes.
