[ROVERNET - UK] P5 Front door liners

Can any of our P5 (3-litre) owners help?  A friend of mine is trying to 
remove the front inner door liner panels from a '63 3 litre, and having 
no luck.  He's got the knobs and handles off, and I believe the wooden 
capping, but there appears to be something in the vicinity of the 
adjustable armrests that  is stopping the panel from coming loose.  Any 
hints would be most welcome!
