My main concern in the long term is one of macro economic pricing and
supply and demand for automotive LPG. This aspect has not been
discussed very much here in oz.

Yep, it will go like petrol.  Interestingly it is very lightly taxed; that
will change if lots convert.  LPG vehicles pay their way even less than
petrol ones, which might by now, they didn't before (Uni of WA researched
it).
