Dirk,
I'm not desperate yet, as my wheel nuts still are in the UK, but would love to get a good wrench. Let me know what you want for one.
Cheers
Jim

Amazing, I just got in from the UK an original set of wire wheels with the
splines and wrench yesterday. I have been collecting hard to find Rover
parts from the UK and the wire wheels were one of the prizes.
I am going to send them the Dayton wire wheel to be reconditioned next week.
If someone is desperate for a wrench I will have one made in our machine
shop. The wrench is not a big deal to copy and yes it has 10 sides.

I attempted to reply to David Walker's request for a new, old stock spanner
for wire wheels a couple of days ago, but it apparently got lost in the
ozone somewhere. Moss Motors at www.mossmotors.com carries new
wrenches/spanners in their MGB catalog for about $8.00 US. Part number
386-030. It should be the same size 2 3/4" or 7cm.

Try Dayton Wire wheels in the US: I think they have a ten sided spanner
otherwise MWS http://www.mwsint.com/ should be able to supply one

Definitely 10 sides... I've uploaded a couple of cropped images of a P6B
with these wheels (Thanks David) to settle the debate!

Drew I think you may have to put a space between the
