                        I looked a little closer and the gaitor end has a 
metal sleeve covering the seal......after lightly tapping the sleeve off i 
was able to access the other seal...............i guess i should have looked 
closer right away and i would have seen the seal ..........i've put on new 
rear shocks too while i'm at the back end...............
