[ROVERNET - UK] P5 parts

Hi Dirk,
The windscreen could be a problem. I don't have a spare. Chris Devlin
in San Diego is parting out a Mk. II but I don't know where you are or
how to go about shipping glass. I'm not even sure the windscreen in
that car is good. I have broken two screens trying to get them out of
parts cars and I need to replace the rubber on my Mk. III and the Coupe
but hesitate to try another removeal. I'm really slow with taking stuff
off the parts cars... Unlike Ben, it's more a matter of having time. I
do have some bumpers, but they will need to be straightened and chromed.
The rear bumper is very dear these days...available new from Wadhams
for a small fortune. If the Mk. I tank is the same, I have one of
those, but it's still in the car and I don't know it's condition.

The transmission must be more of a problem than I thought. Even after a
good rebuild, the in-car adjustments are critical.

I'm in West Texas. Where are you?

Roveremotely,
Kent K.
