[ROVERNET - UK] 2200 engine grafted to 2000 TC?

Just received this message this morning.
Although I have rebored my engine to 2200 cc, I get
the same fittings.  I haven't had experience putting a
complete 2200 engine in a 1970 TC 2000.

If people have had expererience with this topic I
would forward the message back to the sender.

Hello,
The motor of my Rover 2000 TC is broken.
Somebody is proposing me a motor of 2200 TC.
Can I put it in my car ?
(The 2000 is from 1970, the 2200 is from 1976 or maybe
1977).
