[ROVERNET - UK] What's a US 3500S engine worth?

Hi Geoff
             The Rover V8 engine is as scarce as hens teeth up here in
Canada and I imagine its the same in the States. I sold one a couple of
years ago, badly seized from sitting outside, it required new pistons and
liners, was less carbs etc. The buyer gladly paid $200.  One in reasonable
condition now should fetch at least $500. MGB owners are always looking for
this engine.
