Hi Paul,
These are GM transmissions for which adapters are readily available 
(Kennedy Engineered Products, D&D Fabrication) to mate to the Rover 
engine.  I have fitted each to SD1's, but have never tried to put one of 
these in a P6B.  The bellhousings on both are quite wide.  The pan on 
the 700-R4 is wide.  200-4R would be a better bet for the P6B, but I 
have no experience.
