if nothing is attatched then you may have a seized pilot in the end of the
crankshaft if this is the case you will have to use a bit of controlled
force and lever the two apart try and keep it all square and lever both
sides of the bell housing at the same time but make sure that every thing is
undone and that you are confidant that nothing is still attatched
