[ROVERNET - UK] brake fluid leak above pedal-'70 3500s

Hello again, Rovernetters.

Many thanks to all who responded to my recent inquiries into transmission
leaks on my '70 3500s.

I am wondering if anyone has had experience with brake fluid dripping down
the pedal mechanism into the interior, and if this necessarily points to a
master cylinder leak, or if there is any other explanation I should explore.
I haven't noticed any problems with the master. Pedal is not soft. But it
seems likely that the very slow leak is fluid travelling down the piston
shaft from a bad seal. What I wonder is whether a leak elsewhere could find
its way past the bulkhead to the interior?
