[ROVERNET - UK] P6b front springs on P6?

I had 3500 springs in the rear, no spacers.
It oversteered, wallowed at the front at times.
Put 3500 springs in the front (free length is shorter, the V8 is marginally
heavier than the 2000 engine) and presto it handles Wonderfully.

Hank

The 2000TC front spring rate is 150 lb/in and the 3500S spring rate is 170
lb/in. If the 2000 and 3500 springs are the same free length, then your car
would sit a little higher with the 3500 springs. However that difference
could change if there is a difference in free length. Best to measure the
two before making the swap.

You may have to swap out the rear springs as well to maintain good handling
although I must admit that I have swapped only the rear springs on my
2000TC, using the 3500S springs along with spacers to get the rear of the
car higher off the ground and haven't noticed any real difference in
handling. However I haven't really pushed it either.
